Lewis and Clark sighted this bird going to Montana in 1805.
In the west it is mostly mountains and in the east it's mostly plains. The water ways are the mississippi river and the misouri river.
The animals are the blackspotted cutthroat trout, grizzly bears, western meadowlark, cattle, cougars, bighorn sheep, moose, bobcats deer, antelope, bison, black bears, trout, beavers, and bass.
Lewis and Clark traveled on this river.
The trees are the ponderosa pine and the douglas pine. The plants are bearberry, gooseberrry and ninebark. The flowers are roses, bitterroots, and carnations.
